We little to bring a little news from around the globe that interests us here at Powerdiverter HQ. Today we wanted to send you off into the weekend with a little bit of knowledge about penguins. Yes, penguins.
Turns out, the little adorable creatures lack certain tastebud genes meaning they are only able to taste salt or sour. It turns out these birds, (according to Jianzhi George Zhang, of the University of Michigan) are the only ones that we know of that have lost three out of five basic tastes. So it does pose the question, whether penguins can actually taste fish?
A little food for thought for the weekend.
Have a great one, from all the team at Power Diverter.
